Case
Effect of Reference Mach Number
The plots show examples of the effect of different values of freestream Mach number
on the computed centerline velocity (on the 49x49; 31x49; 129x113 grid). Note that the reference Reynolds number
is also affected proportionally. Some CFD codes have difficulty computing with quiescent outer conditions,
so Mref=0.01 (red curve) is recommended as a reasonable compromise.
